This campaign was for a meditation / yoga themed playlist. The artists were brand new and were promoted exclusively through ads driven to this Spotify playlist. Not only did this result in 832,000+ streams, but 40% of the streams were from DSPs other than Spotify.

All of the ad spend was done in tier 1 countries to try and maximize the payout in royalties, at the expensive of a higher cost per conversion. In the screenshots below, keep in mind the playlist had multiple artists in it and each image is for individual artists.

Algorithmic Streams

The playlist contained multiple artists, but the one in this graph was exclusively promoted through this playlist. The largest contribution to growth was actually the Radio algorithm triggered by the ad campaign we ran on the playlist, this is why the streams per listener is only 5.5 here.

This is one of the other artists on the playlist. In this case we can't take full credit for this because the artist had another playlist being promoted with ads at the same time, we would assume 30-50% are from this particular playlist ad campaign we ran.
